Navratri 2022: When is Navratri? Know importance, auspicious yoga, Muhurta, worship Method


Navratri is a special festival of Hindus. On this auspicious occasion, nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped. Therefore this festival is celebrated for nine days. Let us tell you that this year Maa Durga is coming to the house of her devotees in a special vehicle. That vehicle is the elephant. This is the reason why this year's Navratri (Durga Puja 2022) is being considered very auspicious. Every year the mother comes riding in some vehicle or the other. This year he has chosen the elephant. Let us know what is the importance of this special vehicle of his and why it is considered special. According to the scriptures, whenever Shardiya Navratri starts from Sunday or Monday, Maa Durga comes riding on an elephant. For this Navratri is starting from Monday. Let us tell you that from the religious point of view, elephant is considered very auspicious. This is because whenever this happens, the happiness and prosperity in the life of the devotees increases manifold. Along with this, the elephant is also considered a symbol of knowledge, due to which it is considered even more auspicious.

Navratri 2022 pujan vidhi

Wake up early in the morning and wear clean clothes after taking bath. Collect the above mentioned puja material. Decorate the place of worship. Keep the idol of Maa Durga in a red cloth. Sow barley seeds in earthen pots and sprinkle water every day till Navami. According to the complete method, install the Kalash in the auspicious time. In this, first fill the Kalash with Ganga water, put mango leaves on its face and place coconut on top. Wrap the Kalash with a red cloth and tie it through Kalava. Now keep it near the earthen pot. Do Panchopchar Puja with flowers, camphor, incense sticks, Jyot. Chant the mantra related to Maa Durga for nine days and welcome the mother and wish her happiness and prosperity. After Durga Puja on Ashtami or Navami, worship nine girls and offer them different types of delicacies (puri, gram, halwa). On the last day after the worship of Durga, do Ghat immersion, sing the aarti of the mother, offer her flowers, rice and lift the Kalash from the Bedi.
